You have no idea how abilities are registered. From the top of my head that would require hacky solutions (hacking into PK's source code which would have the PK devs scratch their heads over if it's allowed or not) + that's even more work than rewriting it. This is how I designed the ability to be, and how I want it to be. If you don't like it, don't download it, simple as that. There is a single slot MetalHook out there somewhere, use that.

And it makes sense I sound a bit rude. If someone works hard on making something and someone asks/tells them to throw it away and remake it in some other way because "they don't like it", that can piss off the author quite a bit.

I didn't knew it was that hard. Sorry for my lack of knowledge in the technical study area. I thought it was easy to convert it into normal compact ability. I didn't say, I don't like it (quote me where I stated that?). I'm giving my idea outs and that's all.

He's explaining to you that what you're asking is a lot of work. Mesk you should do more development yourself so you can understand the gravity of your suggestions.

Well you said "I don't want MultiAbilities on my server" - it's not insulting to tell you not to download it. If you don't want MultiAbilities then don't download them lol.

You're requesting him to change the entire ability and remake it all so that it fits your needs, which requires a lot of work and effort. If you're going to make such a request, it's ignorant if you don't know the gravity of what you're asking.

I don't know about a lot of stuff regarding the whole PK project/plugin and what not. I post suggestions without knowing your so called gravity limits thing, so does that make me ignorant while I contribute to the plugin? I just don't know. It is simple as that. I don't code, so why I should know that before I give someone the request that may be or may not be impossible? That's the reason I ask Finn to the request If it happen to be doable and thus making sure of it by hearing his response/input about that.

*sigh* please learn the difference between a debate and an argument. While you're doing that, also look up what constructive criticism actually means...

"Can this be converted into a non-MultiAbility? I don't like MultiAbilities." - you weren't giving constructive criticism, it's asking him to change the entire project to suit you and validating it by stating there's probably others who would like the same thing.

All I'm saying is before you comment on everyone's hours of work requesting they change the entire project; if you expect them to listen to you then at least understand what you're asking.

I get wher you are coming from but the majority likes and accepts it as a multi-ability and it would not be smart to change a product just to please one person.

Question: If I should shoot MY metal cable onto someone ELSES metal cable, would I be able to use it as a grappling source and pull myself towards the other persons cable? If not, that's be pretty neat.

I can't see how you could d this unless you mean like you shoot your cable into a way and the other person aims for your cable but I'm still not sure if the cable would be recognized
