It looks good.I updated the post and think I did good, but tell me what you think it should be if you had a different idea.

I see your point, but the wrecking machine is actually quite close to the cliff, and the distance between aang and the machine isn't that big.Oh.
I understand it. And I see your point. But in the show, it hits the wrecking machine from far away and still knocks it off the cliff. That's why the damage is scaling upwards.
Hmm. I dunno. What does anyone else think about this idea Finn has?I see your point, but the wrecking machine is actually quite close to the cliff, and the distance between aang and the machine isn't that big.
Hm... okay. I feel like the scaled effects are going to become rather controversial, but I sure do hope not. if a conclusion can't be reached than I'd say just have it deal a fixed amount of damage and knock back.Hmm. I dunno. What does anyone else think about this idea Finn has?
I think you mean AirSwipe, and it does a bit, yes. Whether or not it is a variant is up for debate however I think it would work nicely as an additional ability. It looks like a downwards airsweep.
Me too.I think you mean AirSwipe, and it does a bit, yes. Whether or not it is a variant is up for debate however I think it would work nicely as an additional ability.
Since damage is configurable it's both extremely and hardly debatable, but you're right in that instance. Unfortunately, EarthBlast is one of those abilities that will probably remain spammable and logically be set to deal a fair amount of damage. It would have to be a matter of configuration, otherwise, what else is there to do? :/5 hearts in a 10 block distance with a 3 second cooldown... hm...Earthblast could do 3.5 hearts in a 1 block distance with no cooldown by default...yet i barely see people talk about that.
1-4 blocks: No damage, 2 block knockback
5-6 blocks: 2.5 hearts of damage, 3 block knockback
7-8 blocks: 3.5 hearts of damage, 5 block knockback
9-10 blocks: 4.5 hearts of damage, 7 block knockback
I disagree with this comment. I think airbenders stand a fair chance against fire. They have easy capabilities extinguishing their fires, dodging their attacks, and they can also perform great fall damage on them.It won't. It will give airbenders a bit more of a chance to beat firebenders easier, seeing as all air has is airswipe, suffocate, and one of the combos as offense, while fire has mostly all fighting moves. Now I know that they are different fighting styles, but let's be realistic. If it can be done, it should be done. (Plus it was done in the show)
What would you have the combo be?I really like this idea, but I'm leaning more towards thinking that it should be a combo...
