Well how does flight wo... Nvm.
If anything, this should go to firebenders because they get their power from the sun. Therefor, light should be a sub element. This idea was sortof hinted at when aang went to the fire temple witht he dragons and it showed that fire wasnt all destructive.

No it's not. Firebenders get power from the sun, not fire itself. Also know that the sun isn't a ball of light it's a ball of plasma created by hydrogen and helium atoms fusing.

Invisibility wasn't hinted at, the point of them saying it's not destructive was for Zuko and Aang to learn that fire is an art and beautiful thing and to use that as their drive.

If Fire ≠ Water, Light ≠ Darkness and if Fire+Light, therefore Water+Darkness?

Also, no.

And, what does the moon have to do with water? It makes waves correct, but it itself has nothing to do with it at all. Almost all planets have a small gravitational pull on things on earth, no matter how small.

Well, darkness is just the absence of light. And waterbenders do get their ability when firebenders powers are weakened (not saying thats where they get their abilities, just pointing out an amazing coincidence).

You can't argue with the already established lore of the show. Firebenders can't bend with a solar eclipse
Waterbenders can't bend with a lunar eclipse.

This is what we know and what we've seen. At this point where the show has ended, and there won't be more comics until September, we can only suggest moves based on what we've seen, not new subs. Mist created the official list of subs and that's how it's going to be.
