Hey, so i've realized chi is called OP by many people, or all other than the people who main as chi, simply because you have to punch to do more damage, and your target is stunned, where you can continuously do damage to the target, nothing would be stopping them in a 1v1, so here's the concept i had in mind...
Remove all direct damaging chi moves, meaning moves that simply require a punch, which means not including SwiftKick.
Here are the "moves" i thought of
PalmStrike
PlexusPunch
QuickJab
BackStrike
FocusStance (Mode Enter Move)
Basically, these are the parents of the new generation of chi blocking moves...
I'll explain in this spoiler so if you already know what chi is you don't have to open it up and read
The idea is, to make more possible moves for chi without overpowering it, think about it, why don't we add more attacks for chiblockers? it makes it too OP with the multiple direct damaging attacks, with this idea, chiblockers would have to execute more than one move to have a heavy damage inflicted on the target, if a chiblocker wants to kill, he or she now has to have skill.
The 4 moves stated above shouldn't really be considered powerful attacks, they do nothing on their own, you still do that basic 0.5 hearts per fist hit, but when combined like a combo, you can bet that your opponent will be dizzy and running.
The new generation of chiblocking moves would give more effects open without having chi be OP :
Nausea
Blindness (Smokescreen but close combat and won't blind yourself, unless you find a way to hit yourself)
Slowness
Weakness
Mining Fatigue (Could be used to stop players from breaking blocks if ever needed outside of arenas)
You see the idea in minds for the new generation of chiblockers?
Now hold on, why would people want slowness instead of the current chi paralysis?
It's basically a weaker version of it, the paralysis, correct me if i'm wrong, is too powerful, if you put the duration too low, it's underpowered, a little bit higher and it's overpowered, slowness + bending block = Close or completely the same as the current stuns, except we won't float in the air when punched by chiblockers while jumping, and we would be able to rotate our views (Is it possible to toggle?)
The slowness is maxed out so the target can't move at all
Here's a few moves i had thought of
Solar Plexus Jab
Hold sneak and use PlexusPunch on an opponent, release sneak and use QuickJab
Effect : Regular damage (1 Heart) + 1.5 Hearts
Slowness (2 Seconds)
Weakness (2 Seconds)
Cooldown : 2 Seconds
BackStab (New Generation)
BackStrike (Usable only at the back of course) and sneak while using QuickJab (Any part of the target)
Effect : Regular Damage (1 Heart) +1.5 Heart
Slowness (3 Seconds)
Blindness (1 Second, to show the sudden attack of blindness when hit with a great force)
Cooldown : 3 Seconds
Concussion
PalmStrike then use QuickJab, then switch to PlexusPunch all while sneaking
Effect : Regular Damage (1.5 Hearts) + 2 Hearts
Slowness (3 Seconds)
Blindness (2 Seconds)
Weakness (5 Seconds)
Nausea (5 Seconds)
Cooldown : 10 Seconds
You simply cannot think of all of the move combinations with those simple moves, the effects will not begin unless the repeated and cleverly planned attacks are all successfully executed in a time span of 4 seconds
What about FocusStance?
As said above it is a mode enter move, sneak while move is bound to give more knockback to the combo you will use, sneaking with it will show particles around you possibly, and you can then use your combo, the focusstance effect lasts for only 3 seconds
Cooldown : 3 Seconds
Feel free leaving your comments below, i'll be glad to read them, this was just a crazy idea i had for some reason
Leave hate below if you have a reason to and be sure to tell me

Chi blocking is based on the martial arts style of pressure point, jabbing/punching a target's pressure points can result in severe damage, examples are the forehead, temples, solar plexus, shoulder bones, striking them will affect the target very heavily
