Korra redirected a torpedo underwater by shifting her body to push it a side, so its canonBending underwater may not be canon but it is still logical. It is water after all.

Well ofc, it says in the first post adding the word "underwater"So this only affects when your UNDERwater not in water correct?
Yes, but that kind of is pretty limited. Above water we could see Korra do that at a longer range, and with quicker speed. Do you understand my point? Maybe we should make it so that underwater moves like water manipulation, torrent, etc have a short range and less damage, that is unless you are standing on a solid block.Korra redirected a torpedo underwater by shifting her body to push it a side, so its canon

You do realize afterwards the missile launch out of the water and shot down a plane in the in within seconds....Yes, but that kind of is pretty limited. It was at the same speed because it was the torpedo pushing it forwards. ._.You do realize afterwards the missile launch out of the water and shot down a plane in the in within seconds....
and it was the same speed.
I think this suggestion not really thought out in the right way as far as making waterbenders weaker when in water. I was going suggest that PK adds a burnout feature where the more you spam a move without a break, the bigger the cooldown.
I didnt misinterpret your post; it doesn't make much of a difference that Korra or whoever is underwater. If anything, it just gives them more control so your post just looks like a suggestion so you can get water campers. It was at the same speed because it was the torpedo pushing it forwards. ._.
You really misinterpreted my post.
Korra could have done that at a longer range if she was above water.
Korra could have turned the torpedo around quicker if she was above water.
Please try not to misinterpret my posts.
If you can give me proof that it doesn't?I didnt misinterpret your post; it doesn't make much of a difference that Korra or whoever is underwater. If anything, it just gives them more control so your post just looks like a suggestion so you can get water campers.
Sorry, but I really dont like this idea.
If you can give me proof that being underwater hinders their ability, then ill support but otherwise I don't like it.
As you can see, she can clearly be just as agile if not more underwater.
Even though she's not underwater, your post just makes it if they are in the water and in that case, shes just as fast and just as strong if not better.
Just because I like this picture.
Funny thing is, shes going exactly the same speed as everyone else. So being underwater for waterbenders doesnt make much of a difference...
