PlantManipulation is a basic combat ability used only for plantbenders ,that consists of a variety moves to use by using required plaint to perform a specific technique that i will listing them down here blow.
VineBarrier or VineWall:
By using a vine block as a source ,you can create a fence-type shield that is made just out of vine blocks. You do this by l-click at a vine block ,indicating that you are ready to manipulate the vines. The vine regenaretes with white particles meaning that the ability is activated. Then you hold sneak. The Vines will begin circularing counter-clockwise around you for as along as you are holding sneak and the vines that were connecting the selected vine source will vanish (destroyed). This will create a 3 blocks high, 5 blocks long at each side "vinewall".You could then release sneak after the VineBarrier is fully formed witch it will be kept sustaint. Once you have no use for it you can then toggle it off by l-click on it. This barrierwill protect you of the following listed projectiles:
Earthblast
Fireblast (the vines will be destroyed due to them being burn)
Iceblast and Icespike
Every other fire burning damage ability
Watermanipulation will destroy the barrier and will make its way to the shielder unless he manages to block by other means. AirSwipe atracks will go pass throught the shield without breaking ,hitting the shielder if succesful.

CactusThrow):
Find 3 blocks high cactus. Hold sneak while pointing at it. After you see smoke coming from it ,l-click on your target. The Cactus blocks one by one will be lauch to the target. (S)He will be then paralysis in place after being hit. Above and below a cactus block will apear ,causing rapid damage reduce as usual when touched. In order for the target to escape this ability influece ,he would need to use an ability that would cause the cactus to break (surge, airswipe), an mobility move (firejet, earthsmash from below yourself) or the user of this ability needs to be dealt a damage.

LeafCell (comment for a better approve name this shoild be re-named to)

With this move, you can cover your target in a leaf dome which temporarely covers the enviroment for them to see, allowing you to either run or to prepare your next move. To use this ,you need tap sneak on a pile of leafs ,that consists atleast of 2x2 width and 2 blocks high stacked leafs. When the block smoke starts to show you then can l-click on a entity ,which will surround it in a closed space leaf dome ,that only leaves the entity in a 2x2x2 empty space. The Dome will last only about from 5-7 secomds before it disapears, leaving you the time to make a quick get-away or to start your next move(sneak attack) by suprise when the player is covered in a dome.

Lily Pad Steps
This move requires to be in a pool/lake/river ect. with 7/14 lily pads on it. You l-click while you are pointing on a lily pad. Smoke will apear. You then hold sneak. Any near lily pads that are in found in your certain redius will form a 7 blocks long lily pad "bridge" like show in a 3th picture below this description. Of course ,that would cause the other 7 lily pads to be destroyed before the bridge forms as those are used up/moved. If it happens to be equal or more then 14 lily pads ,then the bridge would be expanded by 2 blocks width (as by this case show in the pictures) while the rest of lily will be in place. When the Lily Pads are formed you have to quickly walk on them if you wanna cross the other side,as they last only 3 seconds where at the start of bridge lilybads fadeaway one by one till it reaches the end of it.

TiedGrass:
Shift on a grass block. Once you see smoke l-click on a target. The grass block will rush to the target legs along the ground to his/hers legs. Once the grass reaches and "wraps" the targets legs ,the player will be freezed in place unallowing him/her to use charged moves(won't be able to sneak). The grass and its effect will last 3 seconds.

Dyeing:
With this technique you can dye anything that is dyeable with just two clicks. You do this by clicking on any plant ,that can be crafted/turned into a dye. Then sneak while aiming at wool/leather armor(that is on a entity/armorstand)/glass/hardened clay/wolf collar. This object would then be dyed into the color that the plant is associated with. After dyeing, the plant would then disappear

I think that the vines shouldn't be already destroid. It would be need more two hits for fire to catch.
In order for the target to escape this ability influece ,he would need to use an ability that would cause the cactus to break (surge, airswipe)
It would be better for the cactus to have a cooldown. For example, after three seconds of being trapped, the cacti should be destroid. Also, in order to make this ability fair, the plantbender should:
  • Shift at the cactus + click at the target = Only direct damage dealt;
  • Shift at the cactus + click at the target + hold shift when the cacti blocks are close to the target = Target will be trapped as long as you shift or until the cooldown passes.

It should be breakable throw FireBlast (three hits, or a charged one), Lightning (the Firebender would still be hit), Combustion (same as Lightning), FireBurst (ipsis verbis), AirSwipe (two hits or one fully charged), AirBurst (the dome would explode), WaterManipulation (five hits), EarthBlast (two hits), EarthSmash (one hit), etc. This, from the trapped player. Another moves would destroy the dome from the outside. It should also be possible for the plantbender click at a plant source and shift in order to create a similar dome, but arround the bender. It would resist as long as they hold shift or the barrier gets destroid.

But I love these suggestions, I hope this brings more attention to plant bending (thank god finn coded the plant whip move).

I think one fireblast will be enough.


That dome shouldnt be destroyed ,as it still lasts only a few seconds. People would frequentlt spamm projectiles at it, which the technique would becomes useless of your nerf and will be rarely uaed.
