Hello everyone!
I know it has been a while since you've seen me post a thread, and it's been a while since I've formally interacted with this community, but I just wanted to update you guys on what's been going on with me. This thread will not focus on ProjectKorra things, rather, just a chance for me to catch up with you guys.
I will start by thanking the extremely capable staff that has operated ProjectKorra in my absence. They have been (even though it may not seem like it at times) extremely consistent and I'm very much so appreciative.
So anyway, to catch you guys up with what I've been doing lately:
In early June I moved across the country to work on one of the 2016 Presidential Campaigns. I had a blast doing this and wouldn't trade the experience for anything int he world. This did lead me to drop from PK more than I would have liked - but it was necessary to do so for my own development. My own interest don't exactly align with this as much anymore, but it isn't something I've lost interest in completely. I still want to see PK move forward and will be doing what I can to help out.
I stayed on the campaign for a couple of months before coming back for a bit. After a while I moved off to Washington, D.C. for College - and this has been the time of my life (thus far). This is both the busiest and relaxed I've ever been. Instead of spending my nights programming and planning things for PK, I often find myself writing papers about economic theory, op-eds about legal issues facing the United States, and papers about racism in the United States. I know for a lot of people in this community, you are beginning to think about college. It may be daunting, and it is a lot of work, but it is one hell of an experience.
I don't have much longer left in the semester. I will be home for a week for Thanksgiving, from November 23rd - 30th, where I'll be focusing my attention on PK a bit (and yes, will likely finally release Probending). Unfortunately, a lot of this time will be spent catching up with old friends and of course, doing Holiday stuff. After that, I'll be back in D.C. for a week and a half for finals and will be returning home from December 10th - January 10th. This is when you'll likely see me around PK more (as it'll be nice to work on something far less stressful than a 12 page paper about family being a social construct or mass incarceration).
This routine I have developed is very monotonous at times - but I like it. I can't wait to be back in the swing of things - even briefly. I look forward to reconnecting with many of you guys - I'm interested in hearing how things are going with everyone.
Thank you guys for reading - I'm just sitting here on a Friday night and looking for another way to procrastinate writing a paper. This was a nice thing to type out and I'm glad I did it. Hope all is well!

Side Note: Adele just dropped her latest album after over 4 years. It's phenomenal. I love it. Buy it and we can have chats over it.
