Denied Passive Abilities

Wouldn't be that a cool addition to warrior stance? When you active WS, you get less damage by chi moves, and paralyze has a shorter duration when somebody uses it on you!

Yeah, if warriorstance was like that then it would just decrease damage from melee attacks in general, and maybe even earthbending since it makes sense.

What? WarriorStance invokes a corrupt version of resistance, that increases received damage. The point of WS is to increase attack power but be more susceptible to damage. Why would Warrior Stance decrease damage?

I unfortunately see only one 'gem' among these suggestions being that sand/dirt could have reduced damage but otherwise the rest of these are rather redundant. If a bender really wishes to reduce their damage from the same element, there are plenty of abilities to redirect, counter, or block moves of the same element, examples being HeatControl and the redirection function of Lightning. The others seems particularly unrealistic for what Project Korra is attempting to achieve. I'm sorry to say this thread is denied.
