I have noticed for some reason earth doesn't have an ability that can turn lava back into stone (or whatever).

So what this ability will do is turn any lava into magma and if you want, into stone (or whatever block it was before).

To perform hold shift at lava and it will turn it into magma and if you hold it long enough it will turn into stone or whatever block it was before.

Hold shift 1.5 seconds > Turns into magma.

Hold shift for 3 seconds > Turns into stone.

Hold shift on magma for 1.5 seconds to turn to stone.

With this ability you will turn a 3 by 3 area into magma/stone and swipe your cursor across the screen around a lava pool to cool it all.

Also a new passive:

Earth benders can walk on magma without taking damage.

I told you that magma (as depicted in minecraft) is lava that is almost cooled and has a layer of dry earth on top. So if it is hot, earth does have the ability to heat and cool the earth as seen in the show with lava bending..... So technically they could make it where they are walking cool enough to tolerate.

Yes, but they don't have a complete on how hot or cold they wanna turn it:
Waterbenders can only increase/decrease the temperature or set it to the point it vapourises, freezes or melts from and into water/ice/gas
Earthbenders can only super-heat earth to the point it turns into lava or do the complete opposite. Also, you can't make magma colder - that's not how physics work.
Firebenders can redirect fire - by absorbing it from one hand and release it to the other, hence why Sozin was capable to cooldown lava. Also, firebenders display to power to heat things (which makes sense), such as heating tea or water to boil, as well as metal.
Airbenders can only manipulate temperature inside their body, which I'm not sure if it's their bending related and achieved thing through their meditation's lifestyle, which is why we never Aang wearing any cold-proof clothing in the South pole.

Than why are proposing of a passive that allows to walk on them, when you said it yourself they aren't immune so how would they walk on it without their feet getting singed?
