I didn't say that I only take inspiration from the show now did I? How about you think before you speak, ehh?"If you take wisdom from one source, it will eventually get spoiled" Iroh
Or we could just theorize on how different martial arts would react to each other, simply by what each martial art is most prominent in. For instance, the martial art behind lavabending is Bajiquan, we could theorize that the short, powerful blasts of that martial art would not fare well against the evasive Circular movements of Baguazhang, as well as I know. So finnbon, do you think that would work? Is Baguazhang less evasive then what I thought it was? Were the circular movements for something else entirely, like getting around a opponent to have good striking opportunity's? I am going to look into learning Tai chi, I was actually planning to do so before you commented that, xD.I think this is a very thoughtfull idea. I think we could search videos that has two relative martial arts that are from the show at the time they are sparring against ,so that way we could find how each battle movement from each m.a. could be acted as a move for the element(imaging seeing a tai chi vs n shaolin kung fu sparring against ,while observing the battle of two of them ,we could look for each detail ,and when we spot each of them performing a diffrent move could ,we could try to think out what could those move represent for the (insert elements)? How could those moves have the same stragedy ingame?)
