The only issue I forsee in this is how a player could return his bending.. I know some servers do an avatar cycle, and some avatars may be corrupt. Would the avatar be able to restore the lost bending?

The fact that nether stars are indeed hard to obtain makes this idea balanced.

The clip shown in the fire section was during the comet, so the firebender's abilities were enhanced by a lot. This is essentially a wall of fire, but if walloffire blocked more moves, it would be better.
