I'm afraid OctopusForm will slowly turn into Torrent if the arms extend though. If they retract after about 6 blocks, that'd be fine by me. Another idea is to merge Torrent and OctopusForm entirely.

Regardless of the actual move, I find double tall grass and normal tall grass perfect for an "entangling roots/vines"-esque kind of animation for a move. Good thinking.

So I've seen a dev post that he's trying to tackle bottlebending a WaterWave, and I'd like to suggest something: make it so that you'll only be able to bottlebend one if you're on the ground or in water, to prevent people from chaining them up.

You do realise you're being rude too, by stating the exact same things? People are allowed to have opinions, and he was stating a fact when he said that this thread didn't include your suggestions.

Also, and perhaps it sounds stupid, but being able to bottlebend one of these would be amazing. I know it technically wouldn't fit in one, but hey, look at surge, especially at night or during full moon.

Looks cool. Kinda interested in how the changing of spirits would work. Would you have to rebind all moves (light to dark moves, or vice versa)? Would there be an option to disable the changing of spirits, and to let players choose their own affinity?

I actually tried doing a sphere when I was an avatar, infinite firejet worked with infinite airshield, but using torrent would break the shield. But, my god, I discovered the best combo ever. Channeling torrent whilst firejetting around is the best thing ever.

Actually, I'd really like a configuration in which you can enable Tornado do to to players what it does to mobs. The minor knockback we currently have is a bit silly, and people would use Tornado for more than just transportation in pvp. Or, perhaps make the regular version able to be launched...

True, but lore-wise, the nomads could only bend air because of their spirituality, which was the main reason Korra couldn't bend it in the first season. Zaheer and the other new airbenders got their powers via harmonic convergence, making them less restricted in how offensive they bend.

How about turning grass, sand and stone into glass for the user? Makes more sense than the current smoke.

Or, make it a single move as in the "Torrent" is the octopusform, but channelling the Torrent would extend a tentacle. You wouldn't have to click to bounce back enemies, this'd be done automatically.

How about making PhaseChange able to temporarily freeze the Torrents and WaterManipulations from opponents? I can remember a scene from tla in which Katara freezes master Pakku's Torrent, and runs over it. The ice would last for about a second or five, regardless of the user holding shift in...

I 've seen an rpg server in which when you die, you enter spectator mode and see your own body lying on the floor.(the bed animation/position) if lying's a bit too silly, the minecart sitting animation/position could work too. The code is there, it can definitely work.
