This isn't really a bad idea. This doesn't change much nerfing, other than replacing the surge cushion with a cool aesthetical method of preventing the waterbender's fall, so kudos for that! (y)
Edit: Even if it does change the idea of requiring a big pool body of water than bottles, I still don't mind this being implanted in the plugin. Not sure about the rest community who had seen this request, If they agree on this change or not.

Airbenders and Earthbenders have the passive ability to dodge fall damage. You might think it's the potion effect airbenders have but that would mean they have to run all the time for it to take effect.
