Says the match to the flame war.
This is still off topic, but I need to clarify something. Water puts out fire. Firebending is negated because of the heat being sucked in by the water. Boiling temp is 210° at the lowest. You say lightning is different from what would happen irl. That's not pk's decision for how much dmg lightning does on whatever server you use as ex. If you wanted to get back on topic you wouldn't have stated that.
If the water is stationary, it would boil at 100 Celcius degrees.

Yeah I kinda disagree with DanBall here.

How to escape LavaFlow for dummies!
Air;
That's easy! Basically use any airbending move in existance! For example, airblast yourself up, or airspout! And if you have Jedcore, I highly recommend AirBreath for escaping that pesky lava!
Water; That's easy! Just take water from a bottle or a nearby source, and use surge under you! Done and done!
Fire; That's easy! Firejet!
Earth; That's easy! RaiseEarth under you, or Catapult!

Basically it's easy to escape it, you just have to have fast reaction time. I fight lavabenders all the time and win, and I'm just an airbender with basically no offensive attacks. Plus, lavabending being so destructive and hard to control, its actually quite easy to get your enemy to kill themselves with the lava.

And to be honest, when they're using lavaflow, you can just sprint and jump out of the way and its really easy to avoid it. I'd be careful for the moat one tho.
RaiseEarth under me used to work, but now it no longer does. Don't know why. Could just be the server I'm on. It works with LavaFlux, but not LavaFlow.

Looking into.
Earth grab does need a cool down and there's a charge up time in the config for lava flow but I guess the default needs a nerf.

As said Hydro, EarthGrab is canon, but the way it works isn't. Need small changes!
Let's face it. Not just it wasn't in the show to be canon, but also lets ask why wasn't in being used? When asami was on the run with unconscious Korra on her hands from the red lotus, Ghazan traped them in a spamed raiseearth room rather then with earthgrab - raising all four walls at the same delay. Most (or all) earthbenders trapped them in a small trangle cell/booth thingy shape, that restricted the victims movement. And of course, have we ever seen one earthbender srrounding him/herself in a medium space room?

That's not to say that one earthbender can't raise small, thick walls around him/herself.
