Denied Minecraft 1.9 Combat Slot Suggestion

Now from the new Minecraft 1.9 snapshots, I've seen that they have added a combat slot which seems very good in terms of PvP. While playing on some bending servers with a lot of elemental moves, I've came up with an idea using the new combat slot. This idea makes it possible to switch binds without having to type in a preset mid battle. Normally somebody is limited to 9 moves binded, but with my suggestion, if you go into duel wielding mode your binds would be able to be changed into a new set of binds. I'd call them "Backup binds". There would obviously be a command to bind them, maybe it could be /bending bind backup. Welp that's all I got for suggestions right now, please tell me if you agree with this idea.

Step #1. Bind "Backup binds".
Step #2. Activate duel wielding mode.
Step #3. Go out to duel wielding mode to get back to your regular binds.

I think this is already a thing, but its not in the plugin.

Its called /b preset bind.
It works pretty well if you know how to use it.

Are you sure about maximum of 10 slots... I've never seen a 10th bind..

My bad, I put 10 binds instead of 9.

It's useless to do this when you can already do /bending preset save backup then /b p b backup

^... except that you can save one element per preset, which I find kinda lacking when you have a lot of addons to bind for, but realising that you can't.

Doing a preset mid-battle just seems as bit unnatural, using the combat system could make it easier to switch your binds back and forth without having to type mid battle and risk getting hit.

I never used avatar preset, but you can't like make two waterbendings presets as far as I tried.

It could just be that there's an extra move bound to the new 10th slot (off hand) that has to be switched to your hotbar to work (With the "F" key). Kind of hard to explain, but say you have 9 fire moves bound on normal ones, and a water move on the 10th slot, if you pressed F while slot 4 is selected, it swaps bind 4 with the water move on slot 10.

This could be shot down like a lead balloon since it's so complicated but oh well XD

Since the developers don't really know what they can use yet, we aren't really taking suggestions that involve Minecraft 1.9, I'm going to deny.
