Canon Limits Creativeness

I know that the plugin is trying to be close to the show as possible, but it's kind of ignorant of people to discard someone post just because it isn't "canon".

"Keep Suggestions Practical. We do not require everything to be from the show, however, we do expect a sense of practicality in suggestions." -MistPhizzle's How to Make a Suggestion.

The definition of Practical -The aspects of a situation that involve the actual doing or experience of something rather than theories or ideas.

Clearly right there is stated that it is not required for everything to be canon, it just needs to be practical even though canon is expected. Something like waterbenders flying because they have a waterspout isn't practical, but something like Ice Blade (That is a discarded move. I was looking more into feedback than anything else.) is practical.

NOTE: This isn't an immature rant of something like my post of something non-canon being rejected (Most of my stuff are based on the show anyways).

The point I am trying to get across is that people shouldn't disregard somebodies post just because it was never seen in the show/comics. Few of us expected lavabending and even fewer expected it to a an earth sub-element.

We deny posts because they are neither canon, nor practical, OR they simply do not fit into the plugin at the time of the suggestion being read.

It's not directed towards staff, this is more directed to other people.

Just pointing out, abilities still must have some canon connection to it. The Ability your suggesting must be some way logical from a canon perspective, at least close to having enough evidence for it to exist with a good reason. For example, we know that air benders can't create/manipulate sound and waterbenders aren't capable to turn their element into boiling substance in the avatar universe, which is why we never had and will not have in the future.
