A question about firebending, I guess?

I was not talking about the true meaning of fire bending. I never said anything about fire not being the most offensive element, because it is. I was talking about the annoying knockback that should somehow be removed. Fire is not the element of disabling, but that is what the fire damage is doing. Disabling chi-blockers form dodging. But, maybe everything I heard about firebending is wrong then.

It's very hard to argue with the fact that people burning alive into crisps is not cannon. Fire does so much DPS that removing burning won't really effect it all that much either.

Obviously you have never fought a guy in armor burning up. Or have a fight end up being a matter of just basically 2 hearts.

I feel as though stopdropandroll would be a great addon to highjump.

As a airbender i constantly airblast to remove the burning, it seems fit that chi would have a move to stop themselves from burning, i remember seeing chiblockers run through fire all the time.

I have seen that once. By amon. You can already run through walloffire if you time it right, what more do you want? Has Tai Li ever used it?

I have never once been able to run through a walloffire unscathed, so "what more do you want?" is really not suitable for what you are saying.

And Tai Li probably never used it since in the ATLA universe fire doesn't start people on fire, so no need for her to have done it.

You ever run through walloffire with the speedboost of acrobaticstance chiblocking? Acrobaticstance makes you faster then a guy sprinting by just walking, I heard on another thread that if you time it right that you can get through the walloffire. That was in this thread, Tick tock, I will be back.

Owlcool is representing the butthurt bender who can't beat chi no matter how much he tries. He's gotta make sure they don't get any advantageous additions what so ever.

Ahha, another false claim without any backup. Of course I have fought people in armor, I'm just too good to need fire to finish the job for me though.

I would like to Burning to be removed, but it would remove that minecraft vanilla taste :/
wtf?
Edit: Oooh I thought you said I would like bending to be removed, lol. My bad.

The burning damage is going to make quite the difference to a unarmored firebender when the firebender is fighting someone in armor. Besides, if fire was such a giant buff that it needs to be removed, then why not just use fire resistance potions? Literally every element has a counter to it other then chi. Chi isn't even an actual element.

1 damage every 1.5 seconds really isn't that big of a difference. Unless of course, the person sucks so bad at PvP they need actually need that tiny help.

If you ever fought in a fight ending up just a matter of 2 hearts, this can make a big difference. Not all fights last for 10 seconds.

Sure it can make this "big difference" you are talking about, but again. That only happens if one side is bad with bending. They end up relying on fire damage to finish up their opponent. Not themselves. In my cases I never rely on fire damage to kill my enemy. I make sure I deal the final blow, as I see letting my target slowly die because of some after effect a wimpy and coward like strategy.

More often than not, I use fire to lag my opponent instead :p

Every Real element has a counter to the fire damage. I doubt we Really need to get rid of fire damage

If people are arguing for getting rid of the damage, the people arguing for this are just as nooby as the people arguing against this. This is a double sided argument.

Probably the elements he can't master? Just a wild guess here.
Chiblocking isn't a actual element in the show. It was used by the people who were unable to bend, because they were unable to bend. You saw amon, didn't you? Or do I really need to hide that "Spoiler?"

Besides, chi has gotta be the easiest element to learn. Run at someone, punch them. Run away, run towards them again, punch them again. How is that not easier to figure out then any other element. .-.

So you're saying chi is a "fake element"? Does that mean that fighting with swords or bows is also a "fake element"? Ooooohhh, now I feel smart.

Please understand my sarcasm, as hard as it may be.

I might be wrong, but i dont think chi is actually classed as an element to start with? I though chi was always just a fighting style...
