Disclaimer~ Most of these moves would require metallic substances in the benders inventory, Such as gold or iron. Each time a move would be used iron/gold would be used to create the move. Once the metal has been used for their attack it can possibly be retrieved.
Metal disc~ This move would use up 2-3 iron/gold in order to be thrown and would have a 5-10 second cool down period. The bender would bind the move via /bending bind metaldisc (Slot#). No charge time is needed. The ability would then throw a metal disc at a target which would appear as a light or heavy pressure plate and move in the same fashion as a earthblast would. If the bender has gold in their inventory and then uses the attack, the disc will be a light pressure plate and move very quickly at a target, since gold is pretty light, Smaller knockback and a 2 heart damage output would be inflicted on a hit target.(Gold moves although littler damage and smaller knockback will move much quicker and the bender will have better control over these attacks) If the bender has iron in their inventory then uses this attack, it will shoot out a heavy pressure plate from their hands, Doing more severe knockback and adding 0.5- 1 heart of damage more than a golden disc would. (Iron attacks would be a lot slower and have less controllable power over).
Refine~ This ability would allow a metal bender to get more iron or gold to fuel their metal based attacks on a much larger scale then extraction would. This ability would have no charge and no cool down time, its more of a utility. Upon binding this slot via /bending bind refine (Slot#). The metal bender could then hold shift on a iron door, iron bars, iron/gold armor, iron/gold tools, heavy/light pressure plates. This would destroy the item but would give the metal bender 75% of the iron/gold used to craft the item. For example lets say I bind the slot and hold a iron chestplate in my hand, upon holding shift it would break the item but I would get back 6 iron from destroying the item. If its tools/armor, You need to have them in your inventory when you use this ability to refine them. If its something you place like a door/iron bars, It breaks where its at and instead drops the iron on the ground.
Knights set~ This ability would be used in order to make a instant set of armor for a metal bender, If the metal bender has 75% of the iron needed to make iron/gold set of armor which is about 18 ingots I believe. Upon binding the ability /bending bind Knightset (Slot#), Upon holding shift with enough metal in their inventory a suit of iron or gold armor will be made, If the metal used is iron, the metal bender will be covered in iron armor and receive a resistance 1-2 buff, but would gain slowness as this would be a more heavy metal. Gold would be used the same way, it would create a suit of armor on the metal bender and resistance one is granted and no slowness would be added. The iron suit of armor would last a much smaller duration than the golden suit or armor which would last a much longer period of time and protection. While in these suits fire damage is lower and wouldn't do as much damage. The armor cant be removed while its duration is active, and armor made with this move couldn't be refined via refine. A small portion of iron/gold used to make the suit will be returned to the user depending on the amount of duration left on the iron/golden suit. This move would have a very long cool down and can be interrupted while making the suit.
If people seem interested in these ideas,I have a much larger array of metal bending ideas I would love to submit. But I would like some feedback on these ideas first in order to prevent making this thread way to long and so it would be much shorter and easier to read.
