- Once the user absorbs the upcoming lightning into their body, they must release it within 5 seconds or else they will start taking damage.
- It could come in a form of a boolean parameter option, where if it's set to 'True' - the user immediately dies instead of taking damage after the seconds had passed.
- Iroh stressed about it being deadly and fatal, if the redirected made a slight single false move.
- This would apply to generation as well: when the redirecter redirects the lightning while releasing it in the air/sky, it would create a thunder-lightning appriomatily where it landed (for a nice visual effect).
- If the user happens to redirect the lighting when not grounded (floating in the air or while moving), the procress would partially be succesful: the attack will be redirected, but the user will still take damage.
- During Sozin's comet event, that's what happen to Zuko when trying to save Katara. Causing him severe injury and incapacitating him for the remainder of the duel.
- Redirecting lightning may be exhausting and drainful, as seen when Aang redirected Ozai's lighting - resulting in Aang falling on his knees.
- Therefor (If this parameter is set to false), random abilities of the user will be put on cooldown after redirecting lightning (random chance of happening - value also configurable).
