Lightning Help (Not sure of other posts about this)

So, I just got the plugin, and getting better at using the bending abilities to my advantage, and I noticed the lightning ability in the firebenders. This is a pretty cool ability, although it only creates a few particles and that's it. Any help making it actually do something? Thanks!

I just checked in the config, it says it's enabled, it has a damage amount. I use it on another player, and it does nothing. A villager? Nothing. Mobs? Also nothing.

You have to hold down shift until lightning is fully charged. After that, you can release Shift to release a bolt of lightning

If you've done what Strange said above and the move was executed successfully, you just want more particles in the move. I'm afraid that is not possible to do in the configuration. The amount of particles in a move is determined by the move developers, then they decide to put an option in config or not. I do, however, know a special place where you may be able to find a better version. There is another version of lightning (here) created by Finn_Bueno. It is similar but has a bit more "pizazz" as far as the animations go. It has a slightly different animation and a different sound. I think it may be what you're looking for! To upload the ability, go into your Project Korra file, click on the Abilities folder, and add the lightning download there. Reload the project korra plugin or restart/reload your server and it should be added. If something is funky after you do that, the move isn't working correctly, then try disabling the ORIGINAL lightning in the Project Korra config.yml. Hope this helped!

I am. The particles float above your face when it's fully charged right? I shoot the lightning at a player, and nothing happens. It's supposed to do damage right?

Yes, you hold shift until you see particles floating above you. When you see these particles release shift and you should see a bolt of lightning shoot from your face in random directions. If this isn't working then I don't know what the issue is and I suggest you to follow my directions above and install the Lightning Add-on ability. See if that works.

It should. If not, then it is probably a bug, which is advisable for you to share it in other thread (unless staff doesn't mind for you to do here instead) so that they can help not just you, but everyone else in this community to have this issue resolved.
