Hey guys, I really thought that earth needed this move for Roleplay reasons, and the fact that loads of Earthbenders do it in all the books!

Basically an Earthbender would come close to there victim and hold shift for 2 seconds then smoke particles will appear and when they release there victim will be engulfed in earth restraining them!.. This will stop all bending and movement. To release there victim just shift again!

The whole point of the 2 seconds charge time should be to stop this being used in PvP battles and the small range is to enable the victim to melee the earth bender to cancel the casting of the move.

It could look like this...

Where your phased in the blocks (unsure whether this is possible)


Maybe surrounded by them

This needs to be added. But longer charge... 2 sec charge for a powerful grab like that is dumb... Assuming it will last until you sneak again, maybe if they damage you it gets removed? Similar to suffocation, but without the channel. If you walk too far away or switch slots / punch them it gets removed? Cool idea :)

Orion replaced earthgrab with this function in his personal build.. It makes it really over powered in my opinion.
Wow i'd love to see how that worked xD, but i dont think its overpowered as it will be impossible to do it in PvP due to the victim just being able to punch him

I really like this idea. Maybe it could give the target a really high slowness or something while they're stuck in it.
