So I was watching this very closly and saw that the right hand of the left Dai Li agent made a new glove (with magic? Or a way for the show producers to cheat glove by making it reapear so fast (and usally out of camera view) that you don't see it )

Maybe they have some kind of mechanic reloader in their sleeves where those things just form around the hand? Or maybe they have rocks instead ,where they form a glove after they used the shoted gloves ? Who knows

Earthbenders can't bend leather

Neither they can "magically" create a rock gloves from their hand. I just thought that the leather might represent to the glove then a block of stone
