Maybe make it so that heatcontrol cancels lava damage like a fire resistance potion. Or just make it like healing waters and have it give fire resistance as long as the slot is selected.
Look who does not know what they are talking about. Heatcontrol does not cancel lava burning damage, it only cancels fire damage. So if you ever jump into lava with heat control on, you are dead unless you either use gamemode 1, have a fire resistance potion, have somthing not in game...

This causes fire benders in a 10 block radius to increase the range of torches from 1.0 to 1.5, to keep this from being op, or 1.0 to 2.0. Just incase you are a math noob, by 1 I mean a whole. So If I increased it to 1.5 then it would add on half the torches range to it's already...

Really? Why not count all the moves that some servers are to stubborn to add because they are add-ons and leave out all the add-ons for the other elements? It is all proportional.
No please. Let's make it so that firebending makes the loudest, most obvious noise, while air slightly swishes, earth sounds like a ghast, and water is a crunching sound like people running on grass. Makes so much sense, and is totally fair for all the elements.
Maybe this could turn into like a long range move. It could move very fast, but only does 1 heart, it should explode, but only as much as combustion, on impact, doing half a heart of damage to everything in the explosion.
