You can't just say a the avatar can waterbender during a lunar eclipse and firebend during a solar eclipse. There would need to be a LOT of evidence to bring that kind of change, and there just isn't. Besides, it isn't like the avatar is going to be stranded without bending during a eclipse...

I think there should be a config option that makes it so that armor doesn't reduce bending damage, as many moments a armored person has been blasted by fire, water, air, earth, etc and they are effected as much as anybody else is, although bending wasn't that lethal. So basically, make a config...

Catapult's only use is catapulting. Airblast can be used for knockback, knockback damage, and catapulting. Airblast is more overpowered then catapult.

If this were to be added, avatars should not be effected by full moons. Problem?

No, they would have to have the moon spirit helping them. Raava is what lets you go into the avatar state so that you can actually handle that spirit energy.
