That's actually the most logical thing that could be possible, since none of the elements really have any control over shadows.

Yes that's just a bunch of crap. Air has nothing to do with shadows, air doesn't even have a shadow. Shadowbending itself would be like an entire new element.

Ok, they are a very similar style just because of the way they can be controlled. There is going to be a lavabender at some point that will be able to redirect lava. Even if we don't see them, there will be one. And also there are a lot of similarities in the way the two bendings were used.

Did you see Bolin or Ghazan have any real trouble with bending it? Because I didn't. The made waves. Fire shots like Watermanipulation, blocked lava attacks just like they would water.

Actually Bolin and Ghazan bent it around pretty easily a lot like water. And they blocked lava a lot like waterbenders would. Lava is fluid.

You do realize bending itself is illogical because no such force exists in this world, natural or man made. Being illogical doesn't affect the fact that this has some canon in it.
