Okay, well if the player is chained, can it be a thing where they are chained to certain spot or is it so they can still walk? So shift click could simulate crouching down and pinning in the chains? I think this would be a good idea, but if it is craftable is this open to everyone even though...

I'd personally love to see this move implemented (Sorry Asura :P), as you said it would be a signature move of metal benders, also freaking scary! Metal bending is scary as it is when you think about it.

Exactly, there's flexibility in standard earth bending so why should one of it's subs be treated any differently

Orion created most of the core moves but to be fair, Mist and his team have changed and added moves from the original plugin so I believe that the original moves can still be changed. Orion was very strict with what got added to minecraft:tla, best example is metal bending, he was adamant that...

I would really like to see this ability added to core as it would lava a more utility usage too, beside lavaflow cooling lava in cave systems
