The Avatar is already pretty powerfuk even without the Avatar State. It has the mobility of air, the DoT of fire, the pure strength of earth, and the mixed offense and defense of water. Usually you need to sacrifice some to get some. The fact that they have all the benefits is already pretty good.

I still think the name is offensive. That's like saying the verb "retard" isn't offensive. Yes, retard is both a verb and a noun.

Because DoT and not needing a source is really all fire has going for it, aside from a few others. Earth and Water have some pretty powerful moves, and if you add DoT to the equation it just makes everything unbalanced.

I'm not saying that only fire can do DoT but I am saying that it's the element that utilizes it in the plugins

Here is why it wouldn't work: Blindness + NighVision != Limited Sight Blindness = Limited Sight Blindness + NightVision = No sight except for health, hunger, and hot bar.

I think this kind of encroaches on Fire in a way, Fire is the major DoT element.

It really isn't possible. This has been suggested multiple times. It can only be done with the one block thing unless you want a lag bomb of particles.

Maybe the damage should be changed to compensate for the range? If it does equal damage with extra range its kind of a buff instead of an alternative.
