Maybe to make this special and different, you could make the air wheel protect you from attacks aimed at your from in front of or behind you. With that thought in mind, maybe adding air shield to the combo would make sense.

What if when you shift while looking at the target, water slowly encases them. Once the water has surrounded them they can't fight back, or get out and you can click to start drowning them.
