That still would make no god damn sense to allow pay2win in arenas and not survival. You aren't forced to play in wilderness too, so I don't know why they wouldn't applied this rule in arena gameplay.

Airblast would need to be recoded, so that it restricts the player to place its puff ball other than in front of him (shifting where placement standards don't meet would automatically place it in front the bender). And/Or if the player tried to airblast themselves, the blast would reach and end...

I doubt that the comet had the influence over the sun of any kind. If the color changing idea wasn't possible, and no one can't think of any good visual representation for the comet, we might end it all either with the boss bar or with nothing.
