This ProjectKorra add-on allows Metalbenders to sense metal around them within a certain range. The duration, cooldown, and range can all be set in the config file. this is a duplicate resource i can't seem to delete so i marked it as abandoned there is second that is more up to date https://projectkorra.com/forum/resources/metaldetector.503/
