Nah, it's cause Raava was given each element to hold by the lion turtles. Vaatu was not, so that is why I guess Vaatu only increases the strength of a single element the person he is fused with holds.

That, and I bet that unalag was more then a average waterbender, inventing spiritbending and all that jazz.

Who knows lol But yeah, the Dark Avatar would be a very cool thing to add into the plugin, along with the announcing the death of an Avatar in the Avatar state. Imagine on a server, Dark Avatar vs Avatar a battle that transforms the land! >:O

Wan was given them. Raava held the other elements that Wan was not using. Still I like the idea of a Dark Avatar

The only reason Unalaq could only bend water, because when Vaatu fused with him he only was a waterbender. When Wan fused with Raava, he already got the other elements.
And about the Avatar State Elemental Sphere, it got denied a long time ago. Since it would lag out servers, but I still don't see how it would.
The sphere is the same as an air shield, torrent, part of a fire shield, and a few earth blasts. I say they should try it.

Actually if you would watch that episode, the Lion Turtles only allowed Wan 1 element and Raava had to hold the other 3. When they fused, Wan had all the elements. Unalaq could only bend water because Vaatu didn't hold the other 3 elements.
