Denied Kraken new water move

I'm new so go easy on me this is how this move works select four blocks of water hold shift to form a veil of water around you wit the legs of a squid you can watch around with it on land but when in it it's like breathing underwater so if you in it to long you die I had a idea for some abilities sorry had to do it strike a simple slap aqua jet a mobility move fling yourself around or or offensive smack and shower send a wave of torrents or water manipulation at your opponent
It is sort of canon.

Potentanlly, it is the same as octopusform and icebullet, so I really see no to have it, sorry.

Regarding with shooting a torrent, water spout-surf and water manipulation - this could be implanted to pre-existing abilities as a water reusement system (torrent ring>>octopusform>>waterspout ring>>surge and visa versa or in-between).

1. Talk about lag, that much water would KILL a server because it has to keep in its memory all of those blocks.
2. I don't think water needs more water moves, Water has probably the least versatile arsenal due to its sub elements being neglected

3. A 5 block swamp monster would be infinitely better than a 20 block laggy squid made of water.

1. Remove surge, octopus and torrent&waterspout ring, because of the lag?
2. It would become boring overtime if we neglected water-techniques completely.
3. Surge during fullmoon is formed with TONS of blocks - didn't notice any issue or lag caused by it.

This would form more than all of those moves combined, and surge on the server I play on is defaulted to about 5 blocks on a full moon,

Again, during full moon surge, by default, is the size of a liberty statue (no kidding), and somebody from devs I believe said the way it uses blocks doesn't cause any lag. Therefor, my point is, it could used the same method that surges, which results in = no lag.

I don't know what dev your talking about, but a full moon surge usually causes some sort of lag.

If you're right, it should already killed a server though or been a huge problem in other means. I don't know If it's size was changed in any recent patches, so I can't be certain if they had resolved it or planning to.

i think that alot of what was said in this thread is irrelevant and probably won't happen.
it's alot like waterarms and octopus form mixed together, which are already doing alot of the functions mentioned above.

in other words, this offers nothing new to the plugin.

Before the screenshot, aang created what it look liked an octopusform (heck, in the screenshot looks also similar to technique), not to mention the fact that in the wikia the technique is named "Octopus Form" (assuming that's where the inspiration for the name was taken). In your description, it tells me it can fling the user around (which is what waterarms' grabble can do, soo yes it isn't "nothing" - it's something), send a circular wave of torrent and launch watermanipulations (I feel like it isn't needed, and it would better of with the concept of changing to those abilities from octopusform). And before you say alike "but the squid you're inside shields you from attacks", I don't think that is needed either, because it would be just weird looking and op, since you can walk around the place with it (again, maybe switching from Octopusform to Surge (holding sneak), should reform the water from the octopus into a shield).

Instead of that, let's better improve the octopusform ability itself. Octopusform is planned to be changed, and there alot of suggestions floating around that have good changes for it.

I didn't, but just in all for the expectation if you ever thought of putting it in as an arguemnet.

I'm just saying, this isn't adding anything new, like @paliate said, it is just a mixture of everything: watermanipulation + torrent's wave + waterarms' grabble + octopusform.

I would use torrent. If I wanted to shoot watermanipulation, I would use watermanipulation. If I wanted to "fling [myself] around]", I would use waterarms grabble. If I wanted to walk with the thing you show in the pictures, I would use octopusform (while it is without the "octopus head", which makes them different aesthetical, but what waterbender would want to drown in their own technique they made? Rhetorical question, don't answer. Minority only would want that, for an unreasonable reason.)

And in all, this is just pointless. Sorry.

"What are you talking about grabbing" -I'm talking about if this ability "fling yourself around" (which If I understand correcly from that vague sentence, it sends you flying as a user anywhere around the place), then why should waterarm's grabble mode (if you don't what that is, I suggest you use that ability before you comment) anywhere If you can fling yourself with that too?
