Firejet Fall Damage

Hello,
I am not sure whenever this is a bug or not nor do I know if there is already a fix to this.

It seems like firebenders take fall damage with the move firejet. I don't know if this is intended, but I seem to get some complaints about it on my server.

Is there a way to change this?

If you fly for to long without landing on some surface in time, the jet will run out and you'll fall, and because the jet has run out of fire, you'll obviously take fall damage. So yes, it is intented feature. If you have a problem where landing on the ground with firejet and you take damage, then it could be a bug.

Yes is know falldamage is part minecraft, but like I already said is there a way to disable the fall damage for a player when the player is using firejet?

Do you mean selected? The "using" definition I understand if as the process of the firejet being activated in the moment, so I would say that it is it needed if what your experiencing is true that firejetting falldamage is still applied. If you're talking about firejet being selected as bind but not in use, then I'm agains't that, because it makes sense that firejet should still give you fall damage when encoutering the fall, as you are not using any fire to cushion the fall in any way.
