Yes I can see where you're coming from. I don't think so either since the moves are still seperate, but just condensed into a single slot

Going to deny this, It simply is unnecessary.

Spoiler: Personal Opinion

Yes the avatar was able to bend at ease but so was every other bender. Korra still needed to perform every element the way a single bender would, And when she was bending multiple elements at once was like an waterbender freezing two opponents at once almost like multitasking. I don't think this is needed whatsoever in projectkorra.
