Suggestion Avatar Cycle

Explanation

Hello, I've decided to make this thread because in my opinion, it would be an great thing for RPG servers

When an avatar dies, they lose their elements and the permission to use AvatarState, And a new avatar will be chosen, And if they are killed inside the avatarstate the Cycle will end, An admin could start it again by doing /b /b cycle restart.

Everyone that has been avatar cannot be avatar again untill the cycle breaks.

Config:

Enabled: true

NewAvatarOnDeath: true | When the current avatar dies, a new one will be selected

LoseElementsOnDeath: true | removes the elements on death
OnlyWhenAvatarstate: false | If this is true, they will only lose Elements if they died in the AvatarState

LoseAvatarStateOnDeath: true | removes avatarstate on death
OnlyWhenAvatarstate: false | If this is true, they will only lose AvatarState if they died in the AvatarState

CycleBreak: true | When the user dies in avatarstate, the cycle will be broken

DisabledWorlds:
- TestWorld1
- TestWorld2

This could all be configured to an owners liking.

Commands:

/bending cycle remove <Player> | removes the player from their avatar position, and a new avatar will be selected

/bending cycle add <Player> | adds avatar to the player, removes from old player

/bending cycle restart | restarts the cycle - everyone that has been avatar can be avatar again

/bending cycle break | breaks the cycle

/bending cycle break | temporarily stops the cycle, when the avatar dies this will have no effect.

Note: An op or someone granted the permission node (bending.ability.AvatarState) does not affect the cycle at all, If they die they will keep their elements and avatarstate.

I think it's a nice idea. The only tweak I have is maybe a command that lets you pick the Avatar for RP purposes. Like if an RPG server wanted one person to start as the Avatar for whatever reason.

I already wrote this in my post:
/bending cycle add <Player> | adds avatar to the player, removes from old player
If there wasn't a player before then it will just add, since there is nothing to remove

On my server players can pay for extra elements, I'm guessing this wouldn't mess with that, right?
I don't want people losing their elements that they payed for. But that would be a pretty fun system, maybe I'll have to revise my policy on pay to win XD

No, it wouldn't effect them. It only effects people that are chosen by the cycle or added (/b cycle add)

So what you are saying that the people that have donated or are youtubers will not be effected, but the server owner could make a avatar cycle for random people that would loose their avatar thing when they die and it passes on another player!Yeah that is a good idea!(not sarcasm)

Its basically: An avatar is chosen and when they die a new one is chosen, But people with multiple elements wont be affected, And people granted the permission (bending.ability.AvatarState) wont be affected either

Sorry if what I said didn't make sense, it was late at night and I was tired. I mean making the cycle actively changing who the Avatar is.

Like every 4 days a new Avatar is selected. idk just some ideas.

To keep people from hogging Avatar, you can detect if they don't log on for x number of days.

If someone buys an extra element, perhaps that comes with the understanding that you can't be avatar.

As a side note, I believe the whole buying extra elements isn't okay with the new EULA. Paying to switch, okay because you don't get more utility abilities.

I asked about that once. It is legal. If they were buying Avatar or Extra elements in survival it would be illegal since it makes unfair gameplay in the most basic form. Arena doesn't count because you can play on a server without ever having to go to the arena.

Thanks for the enlightenment.
