Is it possible to got ProjectKorra working on single player? I would love to play only with my friends on a lan world.

No, just make a private server.
Sadly, you can't get ProjectKorra to work just in single player. However, you can always set up a private server for yourself on your machine and just connect to it. It would work just like Single Player would except there'd just be a window for the server running in the background 
Download BuildTools (link here) and then follow a tutorial setting up a Spigot Server. It is a bit tricky but let us know if you run into any problems.
