This is extremely easy to code, I personally see this as a great source for metalbending

I personally find this really shouldn't added. Jed has already developed an addon to EarthArmor which enables metalbenders to get chain armour (which is basically metal armour) when they right click on a metalbendable block. If you want solely actual metal armour, like iron or gold, it's up to you to make the addon. Like, it's really, really, easy to make.
