Permissions issue

So, I know this isn't the right place for this, and there probably isn't really a good answer, but here goes.

I'm using Spigot 1.10.2 with Projectkorra 1.8.2 and the latest compatible version of JedCore from here: https://github.com/jedk1/JedCoreDownload

I'm trying to set up permissions for my server, but for whatever reason, some of the moves from JedCore won't work. Particularly Sub-Elements and Custom Abilities. I've given my users the following nodes:

- bending.ability.*
- bending.admin
- bending.choose
- bending.command.rechoose
- bending.player


Does PK just not support the * to give access to all, or is there some other issue I'm missing?

Longshot, but tried doing - jedcore.ability.* ?
Just guessing that's the permission for that side plugin's abilities. Though I wouldn't be surprised If the PK's CORE permission don't support/affect custom things.
