The Resource System has now been revamped. Therefor, how about doing the same for submitting a server?
Before a server could be submitted, it must include:
Like with addons, with the same criteria met, the server must then be marked "abandoned" if the following. Of course, nobody can request to take over the abandoned server advertisement (that would be silly). To clarify for ya:
If the server no longer runs the ProjectKorra plugin, the moderating admin should put on it the "Antibending" tag (similar to how outdated addons have the "Abandoned" on them). After that, If no annoucement, from the owner, tells that the plugin is only temporarely removed more than 2 months: the server should then be deleted from the list.
Before a server could be submitted, it must include:
- What PK version it runs?
- What minecraft version #From-#To is compatible with.
- (Optional: ) What Sub plugins it runs (rpg, items, ect.).
- It would be nice If filters for those things existed as well, to filter through the servers while browsing (useful as I might want to look for servers that use probending system.)
To prevent advertisement-abuse, have the poster submit their ign username. If the owner encounters an unwilling advertisement of their own server, they could simple ask the admins for it to be taken down and get not tricked into a non-owner.
Gets abandoned If the owner marks it as abandoned themselves. It should get deleted If the server doesn't run the plugin (or mark it abandoned, if the owner claims that the PK removal is temporal)Just in case, save it as a "draft", or just back it up some way if the owner happens to appeal the reason if it is removed for a limited time.
