Denied New Icebending passive?

Perhaps icebenders should get the passive to collect packed and normal iceblast after punching with their hand, as if enchanted with a silk touch?

You mean via sneak? It would be weird though... considering that how's you pick up stuff via breaking them :/

Well just like how an earthbender sucks the metal from solid rock, the waterbender can slash ice or packed ice for it to drop an ice block

But then the whole block would have to drop, and that's why I disagree on the 'sneak' trigger.

And want it to drop when you destroy the block with a punch. Like how you would with dirt.

I don't see why they shouldn't be able to use their bending to break it.

That's what I'm saying.... They should be able to BEND the "ice shards" out of the ice (Ice Shards = the block thats dropped when it's broken) rather than just having a faster mining speed.

Frankly speaking this passive is really, really, useless, I mean what would you need ice for when you can freeze water to make ice, and packed ice really doesn't have much use other than that. Ice isn't involved in any crafting recipes either.
