I was thinking the other day, and as after watching LoK, I notice that when the Metal Police Force chased after Korra, they caught her and Naga by sending out a Metal-like grip of a string, that just ropes around them.

Materials - You will need to have a metal-related item in your inventory (gold, iron, quartz, etc)

Usage - Left click and a metal-like string will come out and upon hitting a target, it will stop them and root them in their place.

Damage - 0.75

Default - True

Buffs - Target will be rooted for 2 seconds.

Element - Earth

Subelement - Metalbending

I think this should be an add-on for Metal Hook if anything. Metal Hook does everything that the metal cables we see in The Legend of Korra except for what you described. Maybe they can change the current Metal Hook to when the arrow hits a player you can left click to drag them in and then left click again to release them. I think it should be an added feature to metal hook rather than it's own ability.

metalhook (the ability) is an addon ability. You do not suggest things about addons

I don't think shaping a few iron ignots into a flexible wire would be a possible task to do.

This should come as a custom item of a chestplate in the Items plugin, since we have gliders and similar stuff exclusive from there.

This should be an add on to the metal arms move they should make, I don't know what it is actually called.
