DISCLAIMER: This wouldn't be a chi blocking form of combat, the attacks wouldn't stop a players bending, nor are bending based, These moves relate to martial arts fighting styles, such as Mais from ATLA, this form would harness and enhance the players unarmed combat and would take use of various long ranged and melee ranged weapons.
The passives of the melee aspects of this style would be counter melee, block melee, damage reflect, enhanced melee, And enhanced reflects.
Counter melee~ There would be a slight chance of a melee attack doing no damage to the martial arts user but instead would reflect that damage back onto the attacker.
Block melee~ This would have a larger chance to negate a unarmed attack completely, damaging neither the attacker or the user of the style. This would also negate damage from a melee attacker with a weapon.
Damage reflect~ this would have a very small chance that if the martial artist was hit via a melee weapon it would negate damage from the martial artist and reflect the damage back onto the attacker.
Enhanced melee~ This would increase the martial artists melee attack damage. roughly by 0.3 or 0.4 damage.
Enhanced reflects~ This would allow the martial artists to avoid a melee attack/ranged attack. And forms of bending. Also granting the martial artist night vision, so see and aim shots better in the dark.

Ranged moves~ (Takes up a majority of the moves)
Dart toss~ This ability would have a short and sweat cool down making it reliable when a target isn't melee attacking or at a ranged distance. Upon binding and clicking with this ability a arrow will shoot out from the players hand and will race outwards at high speeds in a line, clicking in a direction wont change its direction.
Upon impact with a target it will do small damage, roughly 1 damage.
Poison dart~ This would be almost the same as dart toss and would do the same amount of damage, But upon hitting a target this ability would give the person hit nausea, and slight slowness, and a poison effect that would take away 0.5. The slowness/nausea would last for roughly 5 seconds. Also a blindness effect would happen for 1-2 seconds. This ability would have a longer cool down
Shuriken~ This move would send a heavy pressure plate from the player just like a earth blast would appear to move, and can slightly change directions mid air. Upon reaching a target it would do 2 hearts, this ability would have a medium to long cool down range.

Melee attacks~
Hard strike~ this ability would be used to punch the attacker in a highly hard strike, causing the attacker to stagger backwards slightly and would get slowness and nausea for a short time as they recover from the punch. Doing roughly 1-2 hearts.
Kick~ Since you cant actually kick it would be a punch, This would be triggered by punching a target, if this is somehow possible for a leg to extend and hit the attacker. Anyways the move would send the person hit with it into the air and cause minor knockback, Doing roughly 1-2 hearts. This would have a medium cooldown.
Disarm~ This ability would be used in a punch form, If the martial artist is being attacked through a melee weapon, this move will remove the weapon from the attackers inventory and put in into the martial artists, This move can only be used on a melee weapon, not anything else that's hand held.This would have a longer cool down.

Utilitys~
Dash~ this would make the martial artists quickly dash into the direction they were aiming, avoiding damage. this would have a short cooldown so they can continue to avoid attacks and this wouldn't prevent them from avoiding attacks.
Rooted stance~ this ability would highly increase vision on ranged attacks, This would root a target in place but would give them perks that help with aiming,such as slowness to zoom in on a target, ranged attacks would then be able to change direction slightly via clicking as the martial artist times and aims the shot to make it curve slightly. This would also increase melee damage output highly, as they stand still and concentrate on melee attackers, Passives would be upgraded during rooted stance.
Sword skills (Passives)~ This would make a sword a more deadly weapon to a martial artist, increasing damage with a sword, and blocking would be much more effective, possibly negating damage completely if blocked at the right time.

Martial arts would be selected via /bending choose MA, This would make is a lot quicker to select. All moves would be bound as they would any other move. Well this is my idea, hope you enjoy.
This fighting style would give players more choice incase they wouldn't want to be a bender or someone who blocks bending,just a ninja/ master in forms of martial arts.
