Bug Report Lightning Damage Not Working

Version : 1.5.0
I was using lightning while fighting bosses (Wither and Ender Dragon) and I noticed it wasn't doing any damage. I also tested Lightning on My friend and it Did no damage, However when he took off the Armour Lightning did do Damage.

Is This Fixable?

Hey,

Are you running 1.8?

If you are, Try 1.7.2-1.7.10.
This may help fix some bugs, if you're running on 1.8.

This would be the server jar.
If you change that, you might fix it.

I do not know for sure.
However, if you're running 1.8.
That may be the issue.
