How to get rid of the prefixes?

If you dont know what as prefix is basically its the thing that goes before your name (eg [Fire] TheeBlade) and so on. Now i have custom prefixes on my minecraft server but project korra seems too overwrite it and make them unusable. does anyone know how to disable the ProjectKorra prefixes so i can use my own?
