Here's an idea. Like Korra, an earthbender in the avatarstate should be able to charge up to three earthsmash at once by tapping (I don't think chargetime should be presented during that moment) sneak that many times and by holding sneak at the air, they will start circularing around the avatar, thus blocking any attacks.
With these three earthsmashs, left clicking can (If you prefer manual...) or will (or auto-aim) hit up to three random/targeted players. Switching to airburst and letting go of sneak (while in the process of spinning the earthsmashes) this would add a bonus knockback/damage/speed/ect.
