Ok that logic is so broken. Lava is super heated earth, and obsidian rapidly cooled felsic lava. Just because something is related to lava doesn't mean it'll be bendable.

I'm fine with the idea of bending Obsidian...(change it in configs -.-) but I think it should be converted back to lava and then bended because I don't think it's very "logical" to see Earthbenders earthblasting obsidian everywhere.
