After the combo is performed, everyone around the user in a 7x7 area, including the earthbender, will be catapulted (the earthbender standing in the center), by jutting up a block below their feet.
"But Meškėnas, this can be done by all of the players standing in one spot where an earthbender is standing". In 1.9 this isn't gonna work out that easily, since Collision is a thing now. So yeah...
