Bending abilities activate based on dropping items

It seems that abilities based on player punches or clicks activate when you drop items on Minecraft 1.15.2, is there any way to stop this? As it is kinda inconvenient.

This issue has already been fixed. You can read more about the nature of this issue HERE and HERE. These fixes will be noticeable in the next update.
