Custom mobs to relate to the ones in Avatar such as flying cows or mooshrooms to represent bison red dragons would be a nice add on for the fire benders. Water benders can get polar bear dogs (wolves), leaving earth benders to get their version of badger moles.
Since most of the animals traveled in herds or groups it would be nice to have them as such and tamable of course.
Also different elements should not be able to tame other "elemental" mobs

(Maybe even the option to start with a mob IronGolem to an earth bender, Wolf to a water bender, Blaze (Dragons may be to op) to a fire bender, passive ghast to an air bender, Ocelot to a chi bender)
