I haven't done one of these in a while, I've been releasing specific announcements. The weekly update is back (to be released on Fridays)!

Development Status
So we have had a week of zero Dev Builds for both of the plugins we are working on. We just released ProjectKorra (Core) v1.4.0 and we are planning out extensively where we want ProjectKorra (Core) v1.5.0 and ProjectKorra (RPG) v1.0.0 to go.

ProjectKorra (RPG)
This is probably much more anticipated than the next Core build simply because it is new. We have begun the concept design process here and should be moving into actual development this weekend.

We will NOT be releasing Dev Builds for 1.0.0 of ProjectKorra (RPG), as it will rely heavily on ProjectKorra (Core) v1.5.0. However, if it means anything, ProjectKorra (Core) v1.5.0 shouldn't take nearl yas long to complete as our latest Dev Build.

ProjectKorra (Core) v1.5.0
Since we are releasing 1.5.0 of this plugin and 1.0.0 of RPG at pretty much the same time, our focus is split. We don't want ProjectKorra (Core) v1.5.0 to be too heavy, especially after two VERY feature heavy updates in a row. Our focus on new stuff in 1.5.0 will be very limited, whereas our focus on bug fixes and performance will be far greater, at least as of now.

We are starting the Concept Design portion of 1.5.0 this weekend and we should hopefully move into actual development next week, so expect Dev Builds to start then.

Staff Changes
We have hired many more staff members and essentially split our staff in two for efficiency. To make things easy, we have a separate staff for ProjectKorra (Core) and ProjectKorra (RPG). Each has its own team of Developers and Concept Designers working at them, but they may, at times, do crossover work. Here is what our staff looks like as of now:

Administrator: MistPhizzle - I work both positions on both teams.
ProjectKorra (Core)
  • Developers: runefist, Coolade, Jaclin213
  • Concept Designers: ashe36, Gahshunk, Zolteex
ProjectKorra (RPG)
  • Developers: AlexTheCoder, kingbirdy
  • Concept Designers: Majorite, OmniCypher, vidcom
Probably the biggest implication that this change has on you guys is applications. Just know that when we filter through applications for Concept Design / Developers, we may choose to play you on either of these staffs.

Community Moderators
We are looking to hire up to two community Moderators this weekend / next week to help us out with Moderating the forum. We have been a bit too lenient on the rules as of late and people are starting to take advantage of it. We will pick new Community Moderators and then draft a more coherent version of the rules / punishment list for breaking them.

Sponge v. Bukkit
By now everyone knows that Bukkit is essentially dead and Sponge is being created. That said, I will not release our plans to eventually make a move over to Sponge until we have at the very least a stable build on Sponge and many servers begin to use it.

Sponsorships / Donations
Last week we launched project sponsorships for those that wanted to show us appreciation for the Project. The two of you that have purchased this (Kiam and UnlitedOwns) -- thanks! It helps a ton. You can find out more about this program here.

ProjectKorra (RPG) Q & A
If you missed the thread, click here. Essentially, I will be answering a lot of questions you guys have about ProjectKorra (RPG) this weekend and will probably release the answers at some time Sunday. Time is running out to get your questions in!

Forum Reorganization
We have added different sections of the forum for ProjectKorra (Core) and ProjectKorra (RPG). These sections each have 4 sub forums as of now for General Discussion, Suggestions, Bug Reports, and Dev Builds. We will likely use similar formats when we begin development on some of our newer projects.

How to use each portion of the forum should be pretty self explanatory, however, in the case you find that it is not, please don't hesitate to ask any questions, we're here to help!
